A 38-year-old Madison man faces numerous charges after being thrown out of a north side bar Saturday evening, threatening to come back with a weapon, driving his car into the bar's entrance and eventually crashing into an embankment before his arrest, Madison police reported.
Shane Maynard was tentatively charged with second-degree reckless endangerment, disorderly conduct while armed, use of a dangerous weapon, resisting or obstructing, drunken driving and reckless driving, following his arrest along U.S. 51 just north of Anderson Street, police said.
According to a police news release, Maynard was at Villa Tap, 2302 Packers Ave., around 6:15 p.m.
Saturday when he started yelling and pushing other bar patrons before being asked to leave.More »^ Less
